Tri City Aikido has the great honor of being a satellite dojo for the Kumano Jyuku dojo in Shingu, Japan. Originally headed by 10th Dan, Hikitsuchi Sensei, the dojo is currently lead by Dojo Cho Anno Sensei, 8th dan. The Kumano region in Japan is a special place that O-Sensei (The founder) would make spiritual pilgrimages to. At Tri City Aikido, the deshi (students) will have the choice of being traditionally ranked through Japan with the Hombu dojo (main Aikido headquarters) or acquiring In-House ranking. |
